Introduction

Amongst the multitude of odd things I can say I did while living in New York City was working on Broadway. It was a bucket list item I never knew I needed but am glad to have achieved. As the lead digital AD at a top Broadway/Live Event agency I had the opportunity to collaborate with extremely talented coworkers and dip my hands in some really fun and creative projects. Even got my name in a few Playbills. This is a sampling of some of the projects I worked on.

Building the Digital Brand

At the same time that the object inventory was being assembled, my half of the team worked on creating wires and flow charts for the processes that would define the majority of the user experience within the current IA. With these we were able to pinpoint weak points in our interactions in addition to collecting open questions for dev and products teams.

A consistent design system is not often a first thought in the world of finance communication strategies. MFS, by choosing to pursue an ownable and dynamic communication design, had a great opportunity to one-up the competition. Our task was no small one. Across a number of months we were to redesign the social posts, iconography, the information visualizations and the photographic guidelines.

Times have changed, and so has Nair. What used to be a gimmicky, tagline-based cream that left people with burns is now a gentle, convenient alternative to expensive, messy hair removal products. And they're not afraid to get real about it. Why burn yourself with hot wax when you can use Nair's Wax Strips right out of the box? Why cut yourself with a razor when you can use Nair's Argan Oil Shower power cream in 5 minutes? Co-opting the mic drop trope, we filmed sassy 10 second Snapchat videos and colorful social posts encouraging women to say goodbye to the old and welcome in the Nair.
